1976	First steps in recorder making at Conrad Mollenhauer Fulda
1978	Apprenticeship in woodwind instrument making
1987	Master degree as woodwind instrument maker with emphasis on historical woodwind
1988	Foundation of the workshop for recorders in Hofbieber near Fulda, at the outset only part-
1991	The workshop runs full time
1996	Move to Eisenach and expansion of the workshop
1996	Awarded the German Musical Instrument Prize
2000	The workshop is established in new rooms in the Schillerstrasse
