The woods for my instruments are not treated chemically in any way.
Drying periods of several years before working with the wood ensure an excellent standing of the instruments made from. Some kinds of wood are additionally treated physically against later warping.
The corpus wood for all instruments is treated with linseed oil several times during the manufacturing period. This ensures - in spite of all problems in maintaining during the work - optimum protection against influences of humidity.
